Mary Heiny Sensei, one of the first American women to train in Aikido, and a very respected teacher, will teach a class at Aikido of Berkeley, 1352 South 49th Street, Richmond CA on the evening of Tuesday, February 9th. The class starts at 6:30 pm and costs $40. All members are encouraged to attend either to train or, if you are injured, to observe. (There is no charge to watch.)
Eastshore Aikikai will be closed Monday, February 15th for Presidents Day, a legal holiday.
Saturday February 27th, Hayward Martial Arts, 1024 B Street, Hayward CA 94541 is presenting a special class with Eli Ramirez Sensei. Class will be from 5:30 - 7:45 pm. It will be followed by a potluck. This event is a mat fundraiser but it is also a celebration of Sandoval Sensei's 21 years in Aikido. Any donation is acceptable.
